Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of our website and all design services provided by Kansu Studios, a trading name of Kansū Holding Pte Ltd (UEN 202528433D) ("we", "us"), to you ("Client"). By accepting a quote, paying an invoice or using our website, you agree to them. Our services are for businesses only.
1. Services
We create apparel graphics, including typography, badges, front and back graphics, illustrations and graphic systems, sold individually or in packs, with optional Complex and Comprehensive add-on pieces. The scope, number of pieces, deliverables and timeline for each order are set out in a written quote or order confirmation (the "Order"). If the Order and these terms conflict, the Order wins.
2. Quotes and orders
Quotes are valid for 14 days. An Order becomes binding when you confirm it in writing and we receive the upfront payment due under section 3. Pack pieces must be briefed within 6 months of purchase; unused pieces expire after that and are non-refundable.
3. Fees and payment
Prices are in GBP unless stated otherwise and exclude taxes, which are added where applicable.
Payment is by Stripe or by bank transfer against our invoice.
Orders under £1,000 are paid in full upfront. Orders of £1,000 or more are paid 50% upfront and 50% on final delivery, before final files are released and copyright transfers.
Work is scheduled once the upfront payment clears.
Pack volume discounts apply only to pieces bought in the same pack. Add-on pieces are not discounted. Discounts never combine: retainer pricing replaces pack volume discounts.
Additional work outside the Order (extra revision rounds, new pieces) is quoted and paid upfront before we start it.
4. Retainers
Retainers are billed monthly in advance, by Stripe or bank transfer, for the number of pieces agreed each month.
Retainer pricing includes a 15% discount on our standard piece prices.
Unused pieces roll over to the next month only, then expire. They are not refundable.
Either party can end a retainer with 30 days' written notice. The notice period is billed and delivered as normal.
If you end a retainer within its first 6 months, you repay the 15% discount received on all retainer payments so far. No repayment is due if we end it.
The 3-day money-back guarantee applies to the first retainer payment only.
5. Briefs, revisions and approvals
You provide a clear brief, brand assets and one point of contact who can approve work.
Each piece includes 2 rounds of revisions within the agreed brief. Further rounds, or changes that alter the brief, are billed as new work.
If you don't respond within 10 business days of a delivery, the piece is treated as approved.
Timelines depend on timely feedback; delays on your side move delivery dates accordingly.
6. Your materials
You confirm you own or have permission to use everything you send us (logos, photos, fonts, references) and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights. You grant us a licence to use it solely to deliver your Order.
7. Intellectual property
On payment in full, we assign to you all copyright in the final approved artwork, for use in any media worldwide.
Until then, all rights remain with us and you may not use the artwork in production or for sale.
We keep ownership of drafts, unselected concepts, our working methods and any pre-existing elements or brushes, which we license to you only as incorporated in the final artwork.
Third-party fonts or stock assets are licensed under their own terms, which you are responsible for purchasing where required.
8. Portfolio
We may show the final artwork and your brand name in our portfolio and social media after your product is publicly released, unless you ask us not to in writing before the Order starts.
9. Money-back guarantee and cancellation
3-day money-back guarantee. If you change your mind within 3 days (72 hours) of payment and have not used your Order at all, we will refund you in full. "Used" means any piece has been briefed, scheduled or started. To claim, email hello@kansustudios.com with "Refund" in the subject line within the 3 days. Refunds go back to your original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days. A refunded Order carries no rights to any concepts or artwork.
After the guarantee. Once 3 days have passed, or once any piece has been used, all fees are non-refundable. Unused pack pieces stay available to brief until they expire under section 2.
We may cancel an Order if you breach these terms or stop responding for 30 days. If we cancel for any other reason, we refund the price of pieces not yet started.
10. Warranties and liability
We deliver original work created by our team and will fix any piece that doesn't match the approved brief.
You are responsible for checking artwork for trademark clearance and for print or production suitability before manufacture.
Our total liability under any Order is limited to the fees you paid for that Order. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, production costs or indirect losses.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Confidentiality
Both parties will keep the other's non-public information confidential, including unreleased designs and drop dates, except where needed to perform the Order or required by law.
12. Non-solicitation
During an Order and for 12 months after, you agree not to engage our designers or illustrators directly for similar work without our written consent.
13. Website use
Content on our website is ours or our clients' and may not be copied without permission. We provide the website "as is" and may change it at any time.
14. General
We may update these terms; the version in force when you confirm an Order applies to it.
Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
